Hours of turmoils erupts in the city of Ferguson, Missouri after a grand jury decides not to indict Darren Wilson in the unarmed death of Michael Brown Monday, November 24th 2014. Angered protestors take to the street leaving nearly 10 businesses damaged by fire and 61 people were arrested.

Officer Bolin walks a Roseland community youth across the street during an event that was held to stop the violence in the community on May 22 2014. Bolin serves as the Business Liason for CAPS (Chicago Alternative Policing Strategy) an organization formed between officers and the community to better serve the public.
The meeting help to provide understanding of policing strategies used by officers. Members also agreed to report suspicious activities to authorities. The city of Chicago has a strong "no snitching" street code. Snitching is a slang word that describes that act of reporting an invidual to authorities if they are caught in the act of illegal activities. Individuals are typically scared to report crimes to officers due to fear of retaliation.
